Course participation requires a great deal of motivation, but motivation is also boosted naturally as the course progresses.
Planning
Learning to plan one's work is an important part of the course, so there is a lot of focus on the Learning log, which is one of the dynamic features of the course room. However, as the way to expert self-reliant learning goes through "the eye of the needle", the book has a structured step-by-step outline that the learner is expected to follow.
